Deep Imagination begleitete Lese-Matinee "Autoren unseres Landes"

Matinee “Autoren unseres Landes” mit Edith Hartmann, Jan Costin Wagner und Inge Zahn

Die Friedrichsdorfer Schriftstellerin Edith Hartmann veranstaltete gemeinsam mit der Stadt Friedrichsdorf im Taunus am 17.10.2010 eine Lese-Matinee der Reihe "Autoren unseres Landes". Für die musikalische Begleitung wurde das Elektronikprojekt Deep Imagination von Thorsten Sudler-Mainz engagiert. Der aus Frankfurt am Main stammende Keyboarder und seine Mitmusiker Stefan Höllering (Saxophon) und Thorsten Rentsch (Keyboard, Bass, Percussion) spielten Stücke von Deep Imagination, Art Of Infinity und Whitebirds live.

Mit Edith Hartmann alias Sirmione Zinth (ihr Pseudonym für Kriminalerzählungen) produzierte Thorsten Sudler-Mainz unter dem Namen Jarganto die beiden Hörbücher "Horrorlyrik" (2001) und "Grauser Wahn" (2003).

DEEP IMAGINATION performed live on 14 August 2009 at the Vernissage of the Art Exhibition “Colours In Space” by painter Volker Pietrek in Kelkheim/Germany.

Art Exhibition with music by DEEP IMAGINATION

Thorsten Sudler-Mainz (keyboards), Stefan Höllering (Tenor- and Electro-Sax) and Thorsten Rentsch (guitar, keyboard and percussion) personated the DEEP IMAGINATION line-up, which was perfoming live on 24 April 2009 at the Vernissage of the Art Exhibition Zwischen Himmel und Erde in Bad Homburg/Germany.

The three musicians performed different pieces of DEEP IMAGINATION, ART OF INFINITY and WHITEBIRDS live. In addition Thorsten Sudler-Mainz created a sound installation especially for Zwischen Himmel und Erde, including sensitive electronic sounds.

DEEP IMAGINATION performed live at Planetarium in Bochum. Thorsten Sudler-Mainz (keyboards, spoken words), Thorsten Rentsch (space-guitar, keyboard and sound-effects) and Stefan Höllering (electro-sax, tenor-sax) presented songs of DEEP IMAGINATION and ART OF INFINITY live. Room-concept flowers & stone

Art Exhibition with music by DEEP IMAGINATION:

Thorsten Sudler-Mainz (keyboards) and Thorsten Rentsch (guitar, bass, keyboard and percussion) personated the DEEP IMAGINATION line-up, which was perfoming live on 10.03.2006 at the Vernissage of the Art Exhibition flowers and stone in Bad Homburg/Germany.

Based on the album Scapes they performed athmospheric sounds live. In addition the two musicians created a sound-collage in Dolby Surround Sound especially for flowers & stone, including natural sounds and music.
 

DEEP IMAGINATION live at EM-Breakfast in Düsseldorf on 11 December 2005

EM-Breakfast with DEEP IMAGINATION

In December 2005 Thorsten Sudler-Mainz, Thorsten Rentsch and Stefan Höllering perfomed live at the annual Schallwende event EM-Breakfast in Düsseldorf/Germany. The visual perfomance was created by Ingo Langner. The live-versions of “Sunscape” and “New Horizon-Medley” for the album Gemstones (2008) were recorded during this concert.

Satzvey Castle 2005, on the occasion of the legendary Deep Imagination live debut, for the first time there were presented live songs of Art Of Infinity too.

The Deep Imagination live recordings of “Colourscape” und “Mountainscape” were released on the Syngate CD-Sampler “Satzvey Castle 2005” and on the CD and the DVD of the album Gemstones (2008).
