With the release of the single "Temple In Nowhere" Thorsten Sudler-Mainz heralded a new chapter of DEEP IMAGINATION in 2019.
The band's own "Imagination Studio" underwent a complete technical reset in 2018. And if all productions of DEEP IMAGINATION were mixed in the Renaissance Studio in Cologne, "Temple In Nowhere" was for the first time completely produced and finally mixed by Thorsten Sudler-Mainz himself in the "Imagination-Studio" in Cleeberg|Hessen.
In October 2020 the new album "My Silent Celebration" will be released after a two-year creative phase. In August 2020 DEEP IMAGINATION released the single+video "In My Memory".
With the single "In My Memory" DEEP IMAGINATION transforms wonderful and melancholic memories into the present.
From the musician's point of view, Thorsten Sudler-Mainz spans an arc from its beginnings in the 80s into the here and now, which is staged by the fantastic lead vocals of guest singer Torsten "Hardy" Hartmann.
Here, ambient, darkwave, ethnic drums and subtly interspersed art rock guitars become music that sounds like one piece and pays homage to the influences of acts such as Dead Can Dance, Pink Floyd or Depeche Mode.
With "In My Memory (Chillout Version)" the single offers an exclusive non-album track. (BSC Music/Prudence)
On the new album of DEEP IMAGINATION you will hear well-known guests like Ann Kareen Mainz (vocals) and Günter Kaufmann (guitars), but also new guest musicians like lead singer Torsten "Hardy" Hartmann. Guitarist Achim von Raesfeld, with whom Thorsten Sudler-Mainz had already founded one of his first bands in the mid-80s, is featured on the album.
With the single "Temple In Nowhere" the German electronic project DEEP IMAGINATION heralds a new musical chapter.
With mysterious dark metaphors on the longing for distant paradises, mastermind Thorsten Sudler-Mainz creates a sound that takes the listener into an enchanting world of artpop, gothic and ambient.
A new video clip by DEEP IMAGINATION, shot on the Spanish island of Lanzarote, will be released at the same time as the single. Release date: 29.03.2019. (BSC Music / Prudence)
