DEEP IMAGINATION's fourth album, “Carefully Kept Secrets,” will be released in 2025 in the form of a sonic update. The 2017 longlayer, produced with many art rock elements and mixed by Thorsten Rentsch (ART OF INFINITY) at Renaissance Studio in Cologne, has been remastered. This allows the warm and Floydian vintage sound of the album to be experienced anew.

After taking a break from his ART OF INFINITY project in 2012, Thorsten Sudler-Mainz produced the album “Carefully Kept Secrets” with his solo project DEEP IMAGINATION, which was released in 2017 and featured various art rock elements. In doing so, he worked with musical elements that had previously been heard on the ART OF INFINITY productions. The instrumental, purely electronic chapter of DEEP IMAGINATION ended here. In addition to keyboards and pulsating electronic basses, electric and acoustic guitars, female vocals, choirs, spoken words, percussion, and saxophone were now also used. 

With its gentle harmonies, expansive keyboard pads, the ethereal vocals of Ann Kareen Mainz, Günter Kaufmann's virtuoso guitars, and Byron Metcalf's unique percussion loops, “Carefully Kept Secrets” is an album that offers art rock and ambient lovers alike a cornucopia of music to dream to.

In addition to long tracks and genuine trips such as “Wings to Fly,” “Deeper Than Trance,” and “Dancing With Ghosts,” the album also includes the space pop track “Paradise in Space.” The opener “Carefully Kept Secrets” immediately shows where the journey is headed—into an imaginative, vast, and imaginary world full of mysterious Floydian sounds.
